After completing the curriculum and earning their certification and license, clinical laboratory scientists work as laboratory technicians in a variety of healthcare settings before moving up to supervisory and management roles. Most students who get this degree go on to work in clinical laboratories. Others work in research, reference, public health, blood banks, criminal, doctor's offices, and other types of labs.
