In Iran, a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) is a doctorate-level degree that takes seven years of study, research, and limited hands-on experience under the supervision of reputable experts. You will be a Doctor of Medicine after graduation, and you can continue your education in a variety of Specialty programs, which require five years of university study. Individuals with the M.D. degree can also begin their professional careers in hospitals, private practices, and clinics. Please keep in mind that international students have limited professional capabilities as a result of their foreign nationality, and working as a doctor in Iran for foreigners is only permitted under the regulations set forth by the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education and the Iranian Medical Council
