The Public Relations Department of the International Deputy of Iran University of Medical Sciences reported that the Ministry of Health organized the twenty-eighth Quran and Ahl al-Bayt Festival in Mashhad during the month of Khordad this year.During the competition, which featured selected Quranic figures from international students of medical universities across the country, participants from Iran University of Medical Sciences such as Ali Badiri from Iraq and Ali Yaser Hosseinzadeh from Afghanistan took the second and third spots respectively in the "Tartil" category.
Additionally, Mujtaba Aghil al-Batat from Iraq clinched the third position in the "Memorization of 5 sections" segment.
At the event's closing ceremony, top performers were recognized in the presence of Ministry of Health officials.
