ABOUT SHAHID BEHESHTI UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES:
Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences is one of Iran's top three medical schools and is located in Tehran. The establishment of the schools of medicine and dentistry under the name Melli University (National University) marked the start of its mission in 1961. Its name has been Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences since 1986.
The board of trustees, chancellor, and university council serve as the institution's pillars and are supported by public funding. In addition, the university's primary wings for carrying out its duties are eight vice chancellors who oversee academic and education, research technology, health, international, treatment, food and drug, administration and resource development, and student affairs.
At SBUMS, there are 12 schools, each with a variety of instructional, lab, and research facilities. Additionally, there are many faculty members, including professors, associate professors, assistant professors, and instructors, who are all in charge of instructing students in various medical specialties.

College Life:
The SBUMS encourages students to develop a healthy, active lifestyle in addition to academic activities. The institution built a lot of facilities near the campus that are open to the students. To ensure the students' personal and professional development, amenities like sports, exercise centers, cultural spaces, housing, etc. are given.
The university hosts sporting events, cultural celebrations, and festival activities every year. Students are encouraged to exhibit their hidden abilities and explore their interests outside of the classroom through extracurricular activities.
Students are housed in dorms that are well-equipped with all the amenities necessary for their everyday stay at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Additionally hired security personnel is responsible for the students' security and convenience while on campus.
